Daisy Oliver is a fashion model-actress and entrepreneur living in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Compton, CA she’s been instilled with faith in God, family values, street smarts, and a constant desire to challenge social norms & expectations. Obtaining her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA in 2007, she has a passion for connecting the psychology of creativity and artistic expression to entertainment.
Daisy began modeling to express herself through beauty and art in the industry. In addition to establishing relationships with professional photographers to build her portfolio, she’s worked with pop sensation Rihanna in music videos and other projects, along with completing roles in music videos for rap group U-N-I and artist B.o.B. She recently completed a lead actress role in the season finale episode ‘Double Homicide’ of the successful TV One series “Will to Live”. This website also includes a special commentary blog about trends and industry news (music, fashion, art, etc.) from her unique perspective. She additionally works as a casting director and production coordinator for music videos, indie shorts, & feature films. She is currently writing/producing a web series loosely based on her life experiences.
In addition to being passionate in the entertainment industry, Daisy is involved in civic engagement and community relationships. Progressive thinking is what motivates her to impact change in youth, education, and social media. She sits on the Board of Directors serving as the Chief Financial Officer (C.F.O) for Eagle Empowerment, Inc., a non-profit organization geared toward providing inner-city youth of Los Angeles with academic support, mentoring, character building workshops, and educational field trips around the world.
She is also a graduate student in the University of Southern California School of Social Work. In her spare time she likes reading, meditating, going to the beach, visiting museum exhibits, movies, hiking, and spending time with family & friends.
